There is no doubt anymore, Anodix works! says an enthusiastic Thore Andreassen in TermoRens. He says that everyone who had legionella problems and has installed Anodix has now got rid of the problem.
He tells VVS-Forum that when TermoRens presented Anodix for the first time at the FDV days in Lillestrøm in the autumn of 2008, the company had only a few references and documentation from Germany to refer to.
– Even though we had been on inspections in Germany and received the best documentation, it is always associated with a certain degree of excitement when entering the market, he says. And emphasizes that legionella is a serious problem and that it is very important that measures that are taken seem as intended.
It was in the winter of last year that TermoRens began to fully market and install facilities on a larger scale. The company has now sold over 50 facilities.
– With experience from so many facilities, the excitement has turned into safety, says Thore Andreassen. All plants that had legionella at installation have now got rid of the problem, he says to VVS-Forum.
– We also see that the theory that was presented to us, that when Anodix is started up, the legionella level increases for a period and then falls to zero, is correct. This happens during the process where the biofilm breaks down. If you want to get rid of the problem immediately, we clean the system with Termorens before the Anodix system is put into operation. Among the facilities that struggled with legionella were schools, hospitals, office buildings and swimming pools.
He points out that many plumbing consultants have now begun to describe Anodix.
– The facilities are efficient and are at a very acceptable price level and have very low operating costs compared to other systems on the market.
– The product is also recently approved by ETA in Denmark where TermoRens as will deliver to CMA Armatur for distribution on the Danish market, says Andreassen.
